Ebola outbreak ‘not a global emergency yet’

An Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo is the second biggest in history. Starting in August of 2018, it has thus far infected 1,206 people and killed 764 people. Ebola is a virus that kills people from dehydration, bleeding and/or multiple organ failure. The World Health Organization said that this outbreak is not a global health emergency yet, even though the risk of the disease spreading to surrounding countries is “very high”.
