ISIS suspect gave advance warning of Sri Lanka bombings, source says
CNN reports that weeks prior to Easter Sunday’s bombing in Sri Lanka, India’s intelligence service notified Sri Lankan officials about the possibility of an attack. Intelligence officials were aware of the danger posed by the ISIS extremist, Zahran Hashim, who was later identified as the primary perpetrator of the bombings. Tensions are growing as more details emerge regarding Sri Lanka’s failure to heed the warnings of India’s and other intelligence services.
