The Washington Post: Two Tennessee students allegedly created a ‘plot’ to shoot up their school. Authorities have detained them.

Police officers responded to South Cumberland Elementary in Crossville, Tennessee following a tip that two 6th-grade students were planning a school shooting. Authorities discovered a map that detailed where the students wanted to hide weapons and their plan to carry out the shooting on the last day of school. They planned to shoot staff members and students followed by taking their own lives. The students have seen since arrested although their information has not yet been released.
