CNN: Louisville shooter left notes revealing part of his goal was to show how easily a mentally ill person can buy a gun in the US, sources say
The Louisville shooter left two long notes that reveals how he purchased the gun, with the purpose of showing how easy it is for someone to do so in the U.S. The gunman bought a AR-15-style rifle 7 days before the shooting on April 10. He was told to do just two things: 1, fill out a form for the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobcca, Firearms, and Explosives and 2, undergo an FBI records check to make sure he was not a felon or subject of a court-imposed restraining order. Kentucky law then approved his purchase and he killed 5 of his co-workers. For the full article, click here. For more information on gun violence, click here.
