The tourist was reported to be 80 years old from the Chinese province of Hubei, where the outbreak originated. His daughter is expected to have survived from the virus and is reported to be released soon after receiving medical treatment. The two were among the 12 other confirmed cases in France. The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases has been reported to be over 66,000, with at least 1,500 deaths occurring mainly in China. Other places like Hong Jong, Japan, and the Philippines have each reported a single death case, and other confirmed cases have appeared in Germany, France and Britain.
