Nasty flu season hits US kids, with 92 related deaths, amid coronavirus fears

Recently, a second wave of flu is appearing in the United States, and the number of child deaths and hospitalization rates are one the highest ever recorded since 2009-2010. According to health officials, this wave is expected to continue for the next few weeks. Due to the unfortunate appearance of the coronavirus around the same time, it is difficult to distinguish the symptoms without testing and epidemiology, which may cause some confusion. Overall, it has been estimated by the CDC that over 26 million Americans have been sick from the virus during this flu season with around 14,000 deaths and 250,000 hospitalizations. While the virus can be stressful on the health of both children and young adults, health officials state that they are not as dangerous for older adults unlike past viruses.
