The New York Times: Jeff Bezos Commits $10 Billion to Address Climate Change

Jeff Bezos has not done much philanthropy in the past but is now committing $10 billion to his new initiative called the Bezos Earth Fund. This will provide funding for scientists, activists, and non-governmental organizations in their efforts to prevent and promote awareness for climate change. As chief executive of Amazon, Bezos has done little to prevent Amazon’s carbon footprint. Amazon is in the top 150 or 200 carbon dioxide emitters in the world. Click here to read the full article.
