New York Times: Facebook’s Zuckerberg Embraces Remote Work Beyond Silicon Valley

Facebook’s Cheif Executive Mark Zuckerberg announced that they will permanently embrace remote work even after the coronavirus lockdown restrictions have been lifted. Zuckerberg said that Facebook will eventually have half of its employees working from home in the next five to ten years. Nevertheless, Facebook will have physical locations (“hubs”) in major cities to foster community. The cost of shifting to remote work is yet to be determined, as the rent and food costs would be offset by the travel expenses and logistics of the home offices. For the full article, click here.
