Los Alamos National Laboratory: Newer variant of COVID-19–causing virus dominates global infections

The Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM has been researching a change in the genetic structure of COVID-19, citing that most recent infections are of this strand. While the mutation rate for the virus has not seen a large increase, this most recent one is part of a 4-mutation link that has just recently developed.
