As COVID-19 cases continue to increase amidst the beginning of the holiday season, California regulations have tightened in hopes of slowing the spread. Record cases come with record hospitalizations, and predictions suggest that CA ICUs will be over capacity by Christmas Eve. Health officials expect a greater surge following the Thanksgiving holiday due to gatherings, despite warnings from health officials not to travel or meet people from other households.
