LA Times: L.A.’s big bet: Turning Dodger Stadium into mass COVID-19 vaccine site

Dodger Stadium is transitioning from a coronavirus testing location to a vaccination “super site.” Health officials have a goal of vaccinating 12,000 people per day. In Orange County, Disneyland will serve as another mega-site, administering 7,000 doses per day. Logistics make the process extremely complex, according to Deputy Mayor Jeff Gorrell. Each megasite requires hundreds of personnel to administer shots, run pre-vaccine screenings, prepare doses, control traffic, and do administrative work.
