Forbes: Potential New mRNA Vaccine Method Utilizes Self-Amplification
A new method of mRNA vaccination is in process for two different vaccines which utilizes self amplification. The vaccines, called GEMCOVAC-OM and ARCT-154, use an enzyme called replicase which amplifies the RNA copies and produces a more robust immune response when compared with traditional mRNA vaccines even with a smaller RNA input.
