The small village of Gosol, located on the Spain’s side of the Pyrenees Mountains, has spent decades trying to get people to populate its town. With the school on the verge of closing in 2020, the mayor had begged others to come or else the town would disappear. If it weren’t for the Covid-19 pandemic, people wouldn’t have sought oasis in this countryside, which ultimately saved Gosol. For more information, click here.
