As many aspects of life return to in-person, the CDC urges individuals to get their flu shots as soon as possible. The flu may surge at any time and can create an even larger burden on healthcare workers continuing to fight the pandemic. It’s also important to realize the COVID-19 vaccine and the flu vaccine assist in developing antibodies against different viruses. To reduce risk for either virus, both vaccines are needed.
