CNN: White House unveils plan to move America to a new stage of the Covid pandemic

The Biden administration on Wednesday introduced a plan for the future of the pandemic. The White House’s plan aims to get to a lockdown-free future. Vaccines, treatments, masks, and tests will be used to fight the virus and prepare for potential new variants all while not disrupting normal life. President Biden during his State of the Union address announced his “Test to Treat” initiative where if Americans test positive for COVID-19 at a pharmacy or hospital they will receive free Pfizer antiviral pills on the spot. Masks and rapid at-home tests are also being distributed in the millions in hopes of reaching an endemic stage in COVID-19’s development.
