Rats Could Be Used To Aid Search And Rescue Efforts After Earthquakes And Other Natural Disasters

A Belgian nonprofit called APOPO is beginning a project to equip rats with high tech backpacks to search for survivors in building collapses following natural disasters. The technology inside the backpacks will aid firs responders in search and rescue in the wake of disasters.
