CNN: FDA greenlights self-collection of vaginal samples for cervical cancer screening

The FDA has approved the use of self-collected vaginal samples in a clinical setting to test for cervical cancer. Despite high rates of cervical cancer, not all women or people with a cervix get screened regularly. This new screening method would improve screening accessibility.
