Robert Bowers, 46, opened fire Saturday morning at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. 11 individuals were killed, and 6 others were wounded, 4 of which were police officers. Police, FBI, and SWAT officers arrived at the scene to take action. Multiple handguns and a rifle were recovered at the scene. The suspect has multiple gunshot wounds and is currently being treated at Mercy Hospital. Authorities currently believe the suspect acted alone, and are using social media as a part of the investigation due to his numerous anti-Semitic posts—one of which was 5 minutes before the shooting.
