New Zealand wildfires burn for weeks, experts warn

A fire that started last Tuesday in New Zealand has now covered more than 5,700 acres with a 15 mile perimeter. About 3,000 people have been evacuated due to the fire. Fire chiefs are worried that the fire may continue thru the month of the March. Officials believe the fire started from a spark from agricultural machinery.
