CNN:49 killed in mass shooting at two mosques in Christchurch

At least 49 individuals were killed and 20 severely injured following a mass shooting at two mosques in New Zeland. The shooting was carefully planned and executed and took place during the Friday prayer in which mosques are filled with Muslims who celebrate their hold day. The shooter live streamed as he shot and killed Muslims as they gathered for prayer. Before the first shot was fired, a Muslim man is seen greeting the shooter saying, ” Hello brother” before the gunman shot him and dozens of others immediately after. Just before the shooting was live streamed, a rambling manifesto laced with white supremacist references was published online by the shooter. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern described the horror as a terrorist attack, saying it was perpetrated by suspects with “extremist views” that had no place in her country or the wider world.
