NPR: Landslide At Myanmar Jade Mine Kills At Least 162

At least 162 people have been killed and 54 people injured by a landslide at a jade mine in northern Myanmar. After a massive pile of mine waste collapsed into a lake, a resulting wave of mud and water buried workers. The death toll makes this disaster the worst known in jade mining history.
