CNN: Officials worry about hospital capacity as US hits record number of Covid-19 patients hospitalized
As of Sunday, the Covid Tracking Project depicts another record high of 93,238 Covid-19 patients hospitalized across the US. If the rate of cases continues to rise, Gov. Gavin Newsom foresees intensive care unit bed capacity in California to reach 112% by Christmas Eve. In Rhode Island, a doctor states, “Our health care system is literally at the breaking point.” Americans and professionals continue to instill hope in the approval and authorization of the two vaccines as record cases and hospitalization continues to rise drastically.
