NPR: Gun Violence Deaths: How The U.S. Compares With The Rest Of The World

With the recent events at the Atlanta shooting, the author of this article summarizes statistics on the U.S.’s gun violence. America is labeled to have 32nd highest rate of deaths due to gun violence in the world. Within the U.S., the District of Columbia has the highest rates, Louisiana is the second highest, with Georgia and Colorado are near the national average.
