CBS NEWS: Federal court says restrictions on handgun sales to people under 21 are unconstitutional

The federal appeals court ruled a federal law that would ban the selling of handguns to Americans under 21 years old unconstitutional. They stated that no other amendment is made an exception to Americans between 18-21 years of age, so there should be no exception for the second amendment. They noted that Americans 18 years of age were expected to serve in the militia and hold their own weapons.
