DEA Warns of Brightly-Colored Fentanyl Used to Target Young Americans

With more cases of rainbow fentanyl (fentanyl pills and powder that come in a variety of bright colors, shapes, and sizes), the DEA warns of the alarming rise of these deceiving drugs that are potentially sold by drug cartels. The DEA are working to stop the trafficking of rainbow fentanyl and the distribution of these drugs, however, brightly colored fentanyl is being seized in multiple forms, including pills, powder, and blocks that closely resemble sidewalk chalk. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 50 times more potent, and it remains to be the deadliest drug threat facing this country.
