The Guardian: India increases Covid booster jab production after surge in cases

One of the newer Omicron variants, XBB.1.16, has been plaguing India. On Wednesday, the country experienced an increase of approximately 8,000 cases. The IMA, or Indian Medical Association, blames the lack of use of masks and social distancing.
