Four small earthquakes strike Bay Area

James Queally reported in the Los Angeles Times: Recently there has been a multitude of low-impact earthquakes striking the Bay Area. Early Monday morning, Diablo experienced a 2.9 magnitude earthquake preceding a 2.5 quake shortly after. Tuesday morning saw a 2.8 quake strike just north of Diablo followed by 2.6 and 3.0 quakes that struck both Diablo and Danville. Although these may be innocuous tremors,  that small quakes–especially those located relatively close to the San Andreas fault line–may be foreshocks that potentially precede a much larger earthquake​
