LA Times: Man scouted for Fourth of July attack on Cleveland parade, FBI says

According to the FBI, Demetrius Pitts a 48-year-old American-born citizen was arrested for supporting terrorism. Pitts scouted locations throughout Cleveland to attack individuals at the Fourth of July parade. Furthermore, he planned to set off additional bombs in his hometown of Philadelphia. Pitts has been monitored by authorities since 2017 when he posted about violent attacks on the US on Facebook. He was caught when he met with an undercover agent and discussed his plans to carry out attacks in addition to his hatred of the US military. For more information about the arrest, click here.
