Amidst the nationwide power outage in Venezuela, opposition leader, Juan Guaido, has reported at least 17 deaths at hospitals due to the blackout; however, these deaths are unconfirmed. Many hospitals are currently relying on emergency generators, and some facilities no longer have running water.
