Nurses Protest Lack of PPE at 15 Hospitals Nationwide

Recently, National Nurses United are leading protests across states including New York, Georgia, Illinois, and some California cities for the lack of preparedness by HCA Healthcare, a major hospital branch in the US. Their protests stem from the lack of protection equipment they are given to continue working in hospitals with the infected patients, causing many at risk for the coronavirus themselves. They are asked to reuse disposable masks and resort to other measures to protect themselves. These situations make it even harder for them to stay with their families, for fear of transmitting the virus to their family members. Despite this, many healthcare workers continue to respond to the increasing need for help at hospitals.
