CNN: New coronavirus variants keep popping up. Here’s what we know about them

With more variants of the coronavirus coming to attention, scientists are not shocked but worried for especially four of the variants. These variants are able to spread more easily. Experts worry that these variants, although only having changes to a minor degree, will change to defeat the testing mechanisms and vaccinations. The top variant, B.1.1.7, first identified in Britain and now has been seen in 28 states in the U.S. with over 300 identified cases. The three more variants are B.1.351, P.1, L452R, prominently seen in South Africa, Brazil, and California, respectively. For the full article, click here.
