CNN: ‘Long Covid’ still puzzles doctors but treatment is possible
Physicians struggle with treating “long haul” COVID-19, a phenomenon where COVID symptoms are still observed weeks after the initial infection. Long haul symptoms have been observed in various age groups with differing severities of COVID. Brain fog is a highly common symptom, but there is no treatment for these cognitive changes. Instead, doctors focus on addressing problems arising in blood tests or issues with sleep, mood, and attention span.
