LAist: California Just Closed Its National Forests Through Sept. 17

California is closing all its national forests until September 17 due to the increasing swaths of fire on California forests. Beginning from Caldor Fire near Lake Tahoe to the continuing Dixie Fire in northern California, the US Forest Service announced closure to all public.
